On Sunday 15th November we held a Fun Run at Lake Monger, in Perth.  The event was a great success with 39 participants plus children.

 

The events on offer were a one lap 3.5km walk/run or a 7km double lap.  It was a warm morning with all apart from one participant opting to take part in the shorter 3.5mk course.  Line honours for the 3.5km went to Tim Condon, closely followed by Dean and Ben, with Darryl completing the 7km course. It was a warm morning so well done to all who got out there!

 

The event would not have been possible without the support of our generous sponsors, including Morley Wholesale Fruit & Veg, A Cut Above Gourmet Butchery, Elle Zeitoune, Tupperware, Mundella Foods, The Oxford Hotel, Foot Locker, The Bare Baker, Little Leather, The Little Tin, Mint Empire, Spirit State Health and Fitness.

 

After the event everyone relaxed and enjoyed a sausage sizzle as well as raffles and silent auctions.  Congratulations to Jeanette Young who won the $50 voucher for the Oxford Hotel, for pre-registering for the event. 

 

We were delighted with the outcome with a total of $3,178.50 raised – this now takes the grand total to 21,838.  We are so proud and excited that we have now met the original fundraising target of $20,000. 

 

Once again thank you to everyone for their support, it was really lovely to see everyone out and about together.
