Sarah McCormick has taken time to give us an overview of the Backing Aimee Afternoon Tea.

 

After weeks for planning and organising the day for our Backing Aimee High Tea had arrived. Our final numbers werein and we had 92 fabulous ladies attending our event. That itself exceeded our expectation, we originally thought 50 would be amazing....

 

Our auctioneer, a very very experienced one at theat (who kindly donated his time) really drew the crowd in and got the optimum results for our amazinf auctions, pulling bids out of nowhere  (I almost won an auction I wasn't even bidding on haha) We were so incredibly lucky to get all of our auction items donated, be it by people or businesses no-one asked for anything in return so every single cent raiseed from these go straight to Aimee, Braden and Eli. We had queues for our 16 raffles, some selling out in minutes!These were all drawn on the day with some very lucky ladies going home with fantastic prizes.

 

Including the $15 ticket fee, generous donations from people who didn't/ couldn't attend our day, our raffles and the auctions all together we raised $6013.30!

 

** A special mention needs to go to Sarah McCormick and Anna Pethig who organised the Backing Aimee High Tea. Both ladies put countless hours into organising it all, making phone calls and sending emails asking for donations and people to offer their services. The day would not have been the success it was if it wasn't for all their hard work and dedication. Thank you so so very much ladies.
